Cultus Lake engagement

I bet you all young guys from Vancouver are of Fraser Valley know where the Cultus lake is. When you like the water sliding then Cultus Lake is the right place for you. The most beautiful water park attracts thousands of people every year. I feel with this heat wave Vancouver is experiencing this summer they must have record numbers of visitors for sure. Well, I met Mike and Katelin at the entrance to the park, kissed my wife Maria and our two children to say bye bye for 2 hours and we started our cars. The couple met here couple years back and they knew exactly where they wanted to go. So we drove away from the busy tourist areas such beaches and water slide park and ended up completely on the other side of the lake. Mike lead us to the place when they met for the first time in their lives and from that moment I simply followed them around with couple advices from time to time where to go a what to do… They could enjoy themselves kind of like it was a deja vou even though it was for real 🙂

Place has changed a bit but it was not important. Two of them being together refreshing the memories and creating new ones for them was the key.

Peaceful, chilling in the shades of the beautiful trees we waled through the former camping and headed to another one where they stayed years ago. Just because Mike was a skater and skateboard was his thing, there was no way we would have missed the old indoor U-ramp there.

Katelin enjoyed watching Mike having his runs, and then he tried to wheel here around just to tease her with the feeling of it. Fun and great time should be at every engagement photo shoot. They completely owned it. Being themselves was the key element for amazing images of them in this grunge looking arena.

Guys will have a wedding at a very special and unique venue – a racing speed ring. Keen of fast cars we could not miss some vintage shots with them.

Now if you are photographers you can see how the mid day sun was getting hot and too harsh on us. We made it happen just in time, and I can already tell you their wedding is going to be so much fun to photograph.

As you can see the artsy background influenced them to craft and design their own invitation card. What else should I add.
