Modern Vancouver East indian Ismaili wedding.

So what does it take to shoot a wedding for 5 days? Well, Rizwan and Shermin had a chance to experience it during their East Indian Ismaili Vancouver wedding this summer. These kind of weddings require a good planning ahead, lots of energy for the couple and guests which means lots of food ๐Ÿ™‚ and lots of good weather. Our first day ceremony was indoor so this was not that crucial.ย The second day ceremony was supposed to be outdoor and due to a bad weather we had to move inside of the temple with more than 300 guests around us. That amount of people keeps everyone busy but everything was done smooth so you would not even think it was originally planed different way. Great back planing and KUDO to the Shermin sister who was in charge ๐Ÿ™‚

The next day reception and formals were again slightly changed from original plan – instead of going to the park we stayed in the hotel area and captured some candid and posed shots of the couple, bridal party and close family there. With a special access to the rooftop of the hotel we could create stunning looking weddnig shots with Vancouver downtown in the background. The 4th day was the family celebration in the house of the bride and even thou we had to deal with some showers the moments of Shermin leaving parents house were unforgettable. And what could be a better ending for this 5 day epic wedding than a new wed night scenery photo session at Science world and false creek with beautiful sunset backdrop behind ๐Ÿ™‚

Congratulations Rizwan and Shermin one more time ๐Ÿ™‚ This modern Vancouver East Indian Ismaili wedding was a joy to photograph and I hope you are enjoying your new home in London, UK together with the summer Olympics games ๐Ÿ™‚
