Science World False Creek Engagement session
Science World False Creek Engagement session at night photographed by Award winning Vancouver wedding photographer with creative and modern art photography. Using off camera flash is very popular these days and if you know a bit more about studio lighting set ups and modifiers you can come up with some amazing pictures from very simple locations. For this dusk night engagement session I have decided to use 3 off camera flashes or OCF as known among us photographers and the results are simple yet powerful editorial style portraits with a nice ambient city lights as bonus. This couple has asked for very punchy and contrasty images for both their engagement and wedding and that is why flashes can be a very good solution how to achieve this effect straight from the camera. For this image of the couple and Science World centre behind them I have used a single flash to camera right and the flair affect was achieved by putting some Xmas twinkle light in front of my lens while shooting through it. The more time you allow for these kind of session more creative you can get. It is fun for both you bride and groom and for me as a photographer since we chat through the set ups time, have blast and joke about how easy the wedding day will be after you survive this trap session. Do you want to know more? Send me a message and I will give you ideas how your portraits could rock. Cheers. Jozef
